Pros...light-weight Ti 1950 case, tobacco dial and gold hands.

Cons...can't think of any.

Cons:

Wear a strap that accentuates the gold hands or wear a strap that accentuates the brown dial. Decisions, decisions....

Without having worn one, I would say you need to try it on to see how it sits on your wrist - due to the thickness. I have the 233 which should be slightly slimmer but even that might be considered too thick for some. Other than that, its a beauty.

I have owned dozens of killer watches and my 351 is by far my most favorite ever. It is the most stunning watch I have ever owned, I can't say enough about it. The ti case, sandwich/tobacco dial with gold hands, amazing. Mine is superbly accurate and the quick strap changing system is a dream. I could go on and on.

There are no cons to it, it is one of the best modern day watches on the market, if not the best IMHO.

One more thing....... I have always been a 3, 4-5 watch guy, constantly flipping and never happy. The 351 is the only watch I want to wear these days, that says a lot f you know me.

Thanks...

a lot guys for your input and great pictures.
What about the choice of straps? Can a black/ grey strap match the dial/hands?

Nice job guys! I was waiting for Paul and Trevor to chime in...

it does sit a bit higher due to the auto rotor...otherwise, I have no complaints about the 1950 case...

I have a black and a grey in the pics above, what do you think? I love the grey personally. It goes with the ti case perfectly and really makes the hands pop out.

I think it is really versatile, I have not put a strap on it yet that I did not like.

The grey is perfect. I am not sure about the black. I must be matt like yours. I don't think a croco would do.

Pros - tobacco dial and gold hands
Cons - tobacco dial and gold hands

It's cool, but it's not for everyone! I recommend in person evaluation before purchase.

You are right. The 312 pulls in the opposite direction.

Hi All,

I am new to this forum as well as Panerai. Walk past an shop the other day and I just coudn't take my eyes of it. The next thing I know, I bought it! and LOVE IT!! It's a stunning watch indeed. But guess what? my girlfriend is wearing it because we sent her yatchmaster for service I haven't even had it on my wrist yet after two weeks.

I hope this doesn't sounds dumb, but does this model has a 'fast date' adjustment? I was told by the novice sales boy that I can only adjust the date by adjusting the hour movement, which I am still not quite convinced.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, most models have a quickset date. The GMT models don't and require advancing the hr hand - not a big deal.

It is a Mario Paci. Go to www.tcstraps.com and you will find it, along with lots of amazing straps.

Thanks Trevor.

Is it the Special Edition distressed grey?
Looks great on your wrist but not so good on the webpage.. Haha

I'm hoping to find the One strap that will make me stop buying for my 351, and let's hope this grey is the one !

Klaus, the 351 is a really stunning watch and there are times when I will just look at the watch and try to catch it in a different light.

The tobacco dial could work both ways, I find that a black dial + stainless steel combo will match straps easier than the tobacco but it's just a personal opinion.

Also, it sits higher and the movement can feel a little clumsy at times. But other than that, it's perfect. :)
1950s case, gold hands, sandwich dial.

I can confirm that the date change is only with the hour hand. Also, the movement doesn't stop when performing this operation.
