Pam 241

Well on the way home from the AD after buying my Omega 3573.50, I just HAD to stop at Panerai AD, you know, just TO SEE what they had available.

I'm now the proud owner of a PAM 241. I had a 111-E and like a fool I sold it. I really like this one. The hob-nail dial is very attractive and I am fond of the power reserve. i realize the movement isn't in-house, but I am pleased with this watch. The deployant is great and is the brushed case. SN is 2XX/500 so there aren't that many around. Somewhat unique.

I thought long and hard about the 40mm size, but I comfortable with it. it's not a small watch, even though I think of 44mm when I hear Panerai.

I know my photos stink. I won't say better ones are coming because they won't be. But thanks for looking!

Congrats! So that's what the dial is called - Hobnail. I always called it the "waffle dial".

Nice...that is my favorite 40mm Panerai. I wish they would make that in a 44MM. The SE PAM 222 was the original dial style...but with a brushed case instead of the 241's polished case.

Enjoy your new watch!

Thank you for the kind comments. Now I can buy straps! Seems that PAM's cry out for different straps.
