Buying 2 Rolex at once

So, I've been on the waiting lists for both the GMT-II Batman and the Sea-Dweller 126600, more than 18 months and almost 9 months respectively.

Last night, the local AD called me up telling their new shipment has arrived and just my luck, they got BOTH in at the SAME TIME. I've already set aside a budget for both (because I know sooner or later I would be getting the 2 some point in my life)

My question: should I get both now or settle for one and wait for the next stock arrives (who knows how long that will be and if it ever will)? I saw somewhere on social media the Batman might be discontinued following the Pepsi release and considering the potential price hike if it is true (in addition to the usual value increase)

It may seem overwhelming to get both at once but on the other hand I doubt I will get the same opportunity in the future.

Some background on myself:
1) This will be my first Rolex purchase (if I only buy 1 LOL )
2) Been using a Seamaster since 2013 (so size on the wrist is not really a deciding factor)
3) I buy watches (luxury or not) to commemorate events and personal milestones such as getting my Bachelor's degree, working X number of years.
4) These purchases will be to celebrate me getting my Master's and working for 5 years (so you can tell how long I've been saving up and the other I've had my eye on for a LONG while)

You want both. You have budgeted/saved for both. Now both are available. I see this as a green light for a double incoming.

If you need to ask members on a forum in how to spend your money, then I recommend you buy both. Rolex and the economy needs more people to spend money :)

I don't think you need our advice as you've already asked and answered your own question.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome. Both of course. If not you might regret later and miss the opportunity to get them at MSRP. And instead pay a premium to get one. But if you had to get only one, then Batman it is for me.

I don’t know where you’re coming from ... you want both, have funds set aside. There really isn’t a question here.

Welcome aboard and congratulations in advance

Agree with my fellow forum members that if you have the funds then go for it to avoid the wait in the future.

Having said that, if it’s my first rolex then I would buy one and not two at the same time. I would wear it, enjoy it, and appreciate it for a while before going for the second one.

Buy the one you want most out of the two. Let the other one go so that someone else can enjoy that watch. The fun is in the chase and anticipation.

My choice would be the sd43, once you try it on you’ll understand why.

Welcome to the forum.

Get both seen as you have already set the money aside but and don't forget the pictures for us all to see.

Both vs. just one?

I'm so addicted I'd take both but, if any doubt? Take at least the Bat-Man = way cool + an easy daily wearer buddy!
