Very true. But if you play your cards right you can walk out of there with a Sub with no prior history. Then run! Lol

Polachecks is operating on appointment, at least for current clients. My SD43 just came from them.

PM me if you’d like a name and contact.

Nope - too many VIPs in LA.

Even if you can find a watch you want at an AD, paying for the AD experience is not worth it.

What is a great experience is getting your watch delivered right to your door from a grey.

I purchased a Rolex Explorer II at Hyde Park Jewelers in Newport Beach from Milca last year. I wasn't on any list, but she did look at my purchase history before getting the Explorer II from the back. I had acquired a few watches at the Newport Beach and Denver Hyde Park Location previously. The best part is my bulldog, Daisy was with me and she had some fancy bottled water in the shop. Also, If you get down to this part of Orange county, Bob's Watches is only a few miles away as is the Rolex store at Costa Mesa Mall.

Milca is super nice. I always chat it up with her whenever I’m in the area.

Go to South Coast Plaza in Orange County when it reopens. There’s a Rolex branded AD, and Omega, IWC, JLC, Piaget, Panerai, Bvlgari, and LANGE all have boutiques there. The South Coast Lange boutique had not one, but two different Terraluna models! Their selection was better than the Lange store in Paris and in London. There’s also a Patek boutique in Tourneau there.

Then you can drive 15 min and go to Hyde Park Jewelers in Fashion Island in Newport Beach. They’re great to worth with. My Sub is from Hyde Park. They are a Rolex, Patek, Cartier and Omega AD. Bob’s Watches is also just around the corner.

I thought Hyde Park at Facist Island was horrible. User mileage may very.

I suppose. I had a great experience with their Rolex store. Everyone was super nice. They sold us a Sub back in November even though we had no history with them.

Have to put in a good word for Geary's. We've bought 3 watches there over the years and been very happy with their service. Bought one at the flagship store, two at Century City.

In my opinion, NONE in Los Angeles. Most of the salespeople are arrogant and speak down to you as if you don’t belong in their stores asking about SS Professional Models. GO GREY my friend! Lately, most of the staffing are “younger” with no sense of respect for money/time! Instagram has ruined the Luxury Experience! I probably make more $$$ than most of these people and the way they are “trained to answer” you is disgusting!(((they’ll even joke about your situations during the selling process which is a TURN-OFF))). There’s a reason why we can afford these watches and we can wear these watches and these people sell them and probably can’t even buy one themselves with their attitudes! Sure, some of the clients get what they want by SPENDING OVER $100k,...but be a little sensible. When you spend money and spend time,...respect should always be shown and appreciated in business! Rolex needs to either “train” the people representing their brand or just keep closing down AD’s because after all,...you can’t even buy what you want in these AD’s?!?!?

I had a great experience at Gearys in the Century City mall. I walked in and bought a James Cameron my first time there. That was in March.

imho, I agree that all customers should be treated with respect but everyone has their biases whether we like it or not. It has happened to me many times and won't be the last. The LA ADs have been great to chat with. I haven't had any bad experiences. Do they have the watches I wanted? No, but I always learn more as I interact. Bhindi was also great. Also, in regards to the sales people. They probably get tons of calls and walk-ins a day asking for SS models that their answers have become repetitive. It's not personal. Just because they are younger, shouldn't assume you make more than most of them. That comment doesn't help the conversation or mindset.

Morgan's in Torrance and Saint Cross have been great to me. Purchased from both of those ADs.

Tourneau at South Coast Plaza has been disappointing every time I used to go there to the point I no longer stop by.

My browsing experience has been very good at both the Geary’s non-boutique in Beverly Hills and their Boutique in Santa Monica. They knew I was a tourist but still treated me as a potential buyer. Bhindi’s in Glendale was also quite nice to me.

Full display of the entire SS professional line available and ready to sell to whomever comes in at retail. Now that is a good AD.

Polacheck's in Calabasas. Haven't gotten a watch from the AD but I've gotten few testimonies.
