What year was the last that Subs came with the anchor?

I assume it was with the 5 digits. Anyone know for sure?

I am quite sure the small anchor for submariner was discontinued around 2003-2004 beginning with F serial. The small anchor is fun to collect and cool to have.

I think so too. I remember some early F might still have the anchor, however the late serial F or D did not come with the anchor anymore

Would an F5 kermit have come with one? Mine is a flat 4 with full set but did not come with an anchor

I think if it came in the newer box, then no anchor!

Kermit did not come with an anchor as I remember. I bought one new and I do not think it had one.

I still have the one that came with my first Seadweller in the early 1980's.

I bought mine Kermit new F3 in 2004 with the wooden green new box and still came with anchor.

I believe during the transitional period of old box to new box in 2003-2004, some new box still came with the anchor. The D serial onwards is clear that no anchor given.

Possibly right.
My fairly early flat 4 Kermit had the old box and an anchor.
Though I suspect there would be no really hard and fast rule throughout the transition period.

I don't know the year, but what I do know is that I wasn't welcome with mine in Zürich.

Anchors

I ran across these the other day and took this picture for this thread. The middle one is probably not authentic but I know the other two are.

I've never been fortunate enough to get an anchor. Even when I bought a 14060 from an AD in '92, didn't get one then either; I guess they kept it? I was young and didn't know the difference then.
