Rolex Case Back Markings

Hi guys,

Does anyone know when Rolex consolidated their case back markings/codes?

Found an example online for a Sea Dweller.

The older case backs had the "16610" markings, then, at some point in time, Rolex consolidated their markings and this one then had a "2220" marking. At what point did this happen?
