Kudos to your wife! As someone in the high risk category for contracting the virus, I’m scared to return to my stylist anytime soon.

I was in the same situation, over 3 months. It does feel like a nice steak dinner. My barber will open June 24th and I have an appointment (that is something new they're doing). But I balked and couldn't take the wait any longer. I grabbed the clippers and went to town. There will some frowns and fixing needed in 3 weeks.

When I finally go in and my favorite barber gal sees me, she is going to have a side-splitting laugh fest. I should make a video and post it here . . . .

My Hairdresser is like a 'Speak-easy' - she works from home and has just continued to operate throughout. Had my second Covid haircut yesterday, it was a great feeling!
Mind you there has only been a handful of cases in this neck of the woods over 4 months - all tourists returning from O/S, and all her clients are friends she knows well. Still a risk, but a very small one - probably less than going to the supermarket.

I started cutting my own hair during this pandemic. Due to that, I will probably never go to a barber again.

I'm letting my hair grow out for the first time in 15 years.

I think I'm almost over the awkward middle phase. Almost.
