I loved mine. The only way I was able to part with it was to trade towards my 217 so I could have an even bigger 1950 case and even bigger dome!

I don't think it's the price you pay that defines a watch. It rather is the special value you assign to that watch. So if you think the watch is worth 15k or even more, you should buy it. However if you engage in an overpriced purchase you probably will never acknowledge the watch's true value, because there will always be a flicker of negative emotions attached to your watch.
