BOMB CARNAGE IN Sharm el Sheikh. EGYPT

Well I spent a few years in Sharm with my diving, this has shocked me
this morning.Stayed in and worked with the Ghazala Gardens dive club, what is
this crazy world coming too. When these people have so much hate, around
the world.I was in Egypt when the attack was made in the Valley of the
Queens, but that was on the other side of the Red Sea.But Sharm is a holiday
resort, and to think there is people in this world, that kill Innocent people in the sake of religion makes me feel sick and very angry.
------------------------------------------------

Bomb attacks at an Egyptian holiday resort have reportedly killed up to 62 people, with Britons feared among the dead.

Up to 200 other people were injured during the blasts in Sharm el Sheikh.

Early reports say at least three explosions hit the Red Sea resort.

Some 28 foreigners are among those injured - five Britons, 13 Italians, an Israeli Arab, a Russian, three Saudis, three Spaniards, a Turk, one Ukrainian.

British tourist Samantha Hardcastle said: " I have never been so scared in the whole of my life.

"The explosion we felt was very violent and the hotel we are staying in shook. It was absolutely horrific."

The regional governor said two car bombs and possible a suitcase bomb were responsible for the carnage.

One blast tore the front off the Ghazala Gardens Hotel in Naama Bay, the site of most of the resorts luxury hotels, where people were feared trapped in the rubble.

It was the worst attack on tourist targets in Egypt since attackers killed 58 tourists at an ancient temple near Luxor in 1997.

I have a friend who's due to go there soon on a diving holiday. If I were him I'd be thinking about cancelling.

You have to wonder what makes these monsters tick (I can't call them people, that would be dignifying them). What is it about some communities that aid and abet these thugs? What are they thinking? It can't all be hatred for the U.S. It must go much deeper than that. You can only hope that some day tehre will be a way to catch them and eliminate them before they do any damage to anyone but themselves.

And, unfortunately, they all seem to emerge from just ONE community, giving that sect a very bad reputation.

I was in Iran and lived amongst them for 7 years. Very nice people, really. Very friendly, very helpful and such dedicated hosts. They are very religious minded, but that is their prerogative, who are we to interfere in others religious beliefs?

It's the few fanatics who are extremists, anti-Americans and have been thoroughly brain-washed into believing that any sacrifice they make will be in the name of "Allah" and that they will eventually see the golden gates of paradise if they die in the name of Islam.

During the Iran-Iraq war of the early '80s, thousands of young, teenage boys died with gold-plated keys around their necks as they were brain-washed into believing that that was indeed the key to paradise.

Terrible state of affairs which may never have an end, unfortunately, and thousands of more innocents will have to die....whether anyone likes it or not!!

Frickin' scumbags just have too damned much time on their hands. They'd be better off getting jobs.
