You...um, did fine...

My elevator talk goes like this...
Rolex makes 3 lines, the eponymous Oyster Perpetual line, the Cellini for dress, and Tudor for cost-conscious customers.
All keep good time; some better than others - The OP’s seem to retain more value over time.
Now what are you wearing?

So close...

Tudor is not a Rolex line; it's a separate watch brand owned by Rolex SA. If it were a Rolex brand line, it would say Rolex Tudor on the dial.

The Oyster Perpetual line is officially separate from the Oyster Perpetual Professional line -and by official, I mean it is organized that way in the master catalog. I understand a good argument can be made that they're the same line, but that's not how Rolex presents them in the catalog.

Cellini is the third Rolex line.

Hey, I'll give you credit for talking. I just pretend there's a spot on my tie I'm trying to get out.

There is not much love for Tudor

I showed my cousin my Tudor and he said "that's nice". I asked if he'll buy one, and he said "Hell...no" . I said why not? He didn't want tell his friends he wear a "Tudor what brand?" It has to be a Rolex because everyone knows the value of Tudor...it's all about brand recognition he said hahaha.

Fast forward 50 years from now, Rolex will always be the best watch for re-sale value.

It gets even trickier if the older Tudor lines come up, which may say Oyster on the dial and Rolex on the crown/case back.

Heck, go back far enough, and it may even say Rolex on the dial.
