Not in a million years!

I have one pair of open (toe) shoes. A black pair or Reef flip flops that I wear around the house.

Which is why I only use them around the house or maybe for a quick drive to the corner convenience store.

As was mentioned, they're popular among surgeons since they're cheap, comfortable, light, and easy to clean. I had a pair that was my workhorse for a couple years. Most surgeons wear Dansko's now..however they run about $100 a pop.

Stop wearing them when Crocs started making them in China instead of Canada

This is a flawed study IMO. So when they compared tennis or dress shoes to flip flops, what was the difference? I doubt much! At least you are not tying the laces of the shoes on your way out while holding your cell phone, car keys and cup of coffee!

I have them, only use them to go to the garage, gardening or when at the pool. I used to have these comfy hilo-hati slippers that lasted for 8 years when it finally broke.

If I ever go to Hawaii again, I'll buy a bus load of them.

My children both wear crocs quite a bit. When they play in them their feet get filthy. My 7-year old already thinks they are for babies and has transitioned to flip-flops.

I always hated them, but apparently they are fantastic deck shoes.

I tried on my father's pair briefly a few weeks ago and was astounded by how comfortable they are, but that's still not enough to make me buy some. I keep a pair of boat shoes, flip-flops and Birks laying around the garage, so if I need to run out quickly one of those gets the nod.

I do have a pair of Croc flip-flops and really like them. I wear them in the garden and around the house. My mainstay though are Birkenstocks which I wear during Spring, Summer and Fall. If I could though I would go barefoot everywhere!!!

I like Crocs.
I wear them to walk the dog, gardening, at the pool and doing the grocery shopping. I don't give a sh#t how they look. Considering a growing number of us are looking more like hippos, the look of Crocs is the least of our problems. They are very comfortable and give good support, unlike flip flops that can cause serious foot problems in later life.

I have black, red and Marmite coloured crocs!

No. I have Sperry top siders that I call my summer slippers. I wear them for quick jaunt outside but they dont have enough support to consider wearing them all day.
