Really curious about this 116610LN (SubC)

Hi, I was initially offered this ceramic sub (supposedly first sold in 2015) for $6,200usd and I got him down to $5500, which I think would be suspiciously cheap for this watch, and if you've spent any time on this site you've probably had 17,838 people tell you "if it seems too good...". Comes with inner and outer boxes but no papers. Mostly looks OK to me, but I'm not an expert. Would really appreciate if anyone can advise on whether they believe it to be fake or not. The bag that he brought it in looked odd too so I've managed to find a pic of that online which I've included. Thanks for looking!

Yeah, if it's too good to be true, and you're no expert, hand over a stranger $5,500?

Buy your seller, if there's an issue, could you return it?

Fact of the matter is, no one here can tell you if he will give you the same watch even if the pics were gen.

And the other thread everyone is calling a gen a fake.

Independent watchsmiths are fooled by high end replicas, I'd only trust an RSC to authenticate. If you're not an expert and you're not taking it to RSC then you're gambling $5,500.

Yeah I agree with what you're saying. I did actually have a watchmaker open the caseback to inspect it, and he said he was confident it was gen, but he didn't take pictures and to be quite frank I am not sure if he would know what to look for in a high end fake. Would like to take some more time to investigate it but sending to RSC just isn't an option right now. Thanks for your input!

I would spend the extra $2k for a minty fresh from a TS and know it's real.

If you can get photos of movement, basically the balance wheel, we can authenticate the piece.
Based on the photos nothing screams out.

It looks good here
$5500 is not overly cheap, but in the end its your decision.
Spend a bit more and buy from a trusted seller here
