I would buy the GMT first just because it's my favorite out of the 3 you stated. Wouldn't rush on the Speedy as Roll the Lex says that you probably wont see that many changes on it.

In what order would you buy these?
The Speedmaster, one of my all-time favorites, is easy to buy unless you’re looking for a limited edition. The basic Speedy Pro is abundant.
The OP is not as abundant but certainly readily available. The GMTc is the hardest to come by. Not as difficult as a Daytona ceramic by any means. Just the toughest of the models listed as the 3 watches wanted. So my order of acquisition would be: 1. GMTc 2. OP 3. Speedmaster There are literally dozens of choices for the Speedy so some research into exactly which model is right for you is needed. Case size, color combo, movement, and overall design are factors to be investigated. Edit: piled on without looking at the start date.

Quite frankly obtaining the most expensive watch first makes it easier to aquire the less expensive pieces. No need to save as long, you need more patience up front but it pays dividends. Plus usually the most expensive one is the one you want the most.

Went with the OP first. There’s just something I love about the simplicity of that watch. The funniest thing is, I’m not sure if I still want the GMT II. I’m not sure what I want next. |

When I got serious and really started going out to try on these watches, I was obsessed with the rhodium OP and the Explorer 1, and had to decide between the two. After getting the OP, I still want the explorer I.
I think next, It's between the Explorer 1 or the Seamaster 300 master coaxial |
