London AP Meet?

Its just a thought but wondering how many of us are London based or London accessible and might fancy an AP meet up at some stage? I met with Tyler recently and wonder whether perhaps it might be fun to get a group together?

I'm not London but sounds cool.

Tell me about it, I do hope they get things sorted as I'm going on holiday soon too.

That's great! Perhaps we can arrange something for after you guys get back from your hols? I guess once we see who's keen we will need to initially sweep to come up with a mutually convenient date.

I'm on round 3 with them. Cancelation #2 was today. My route is long haul and isn't even a mixed fleet route so not sure what it has to do with the strike. My better half had the pleasure of getting stuck in Houston during the great BA IT meltdown of 2017 as well. So needless to say they have some issues at the moment. Usually really like BA though.

Maybe see if a Mod will move this over to the relevant section and get a proper date/line up sorted.

https://www.rolexforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=31

I know Ken frequents these depths of the forum so hopefully he'll move it over

i would worry less people would see it there if we are still trying to get a few more people to join. I know that is the one section i almost never visit.

As long as we respond frequently enough to keep on page 1 we may get more notice. Throw in the odd AP wrist shot or two from time to time to keep it relevant to the AP section

Either way, doesn't really matter to me, just a thought.

I was just in London. Lovely city you have there. Watches of Switzerland in Knightsbridge serves a mean pimms mixed lemonade

I'll happily be guided by a Mod if this is bad form, but I think an AP specific London meet would be great, and personally I only ever look at the AP and (occasionally) Rolex sections, so think it would be more ideal if it were left visible in the AP section to be seen by AP interested parties.

I'm easy going just thought as there is a relevant section but then like most I hardly check it out.

Here it would get more traffic, mind you think most of the UK AP fans I see on here are also above

Let's throw some dates up go from there.

Are we thinking weekday or weekend?

if we want to hit up some AD's sunday's are bad. So ill start with Aug 12 as being preferred. September 2,9,16 also work.

I assume weekends will work best for most. But am open to all options.

I'm sure there will be some 44 Ti's there if you haven't tried one on yet.

I'm keen to go but it's a 200 mile journey so the day will be key. August good for me but in Ibiza early September.

Kind of meant Saturday when I said weekend

Also my bad I've looked and we are back from our hols late on the 11th August so the 12 will be a push for me and if no other Saturdays work that month really I'm best from the 2nd onwards (sorry)

So the 2,9 and 16th work for me

If we are talking about August then I can commit to 16th but I can't do the 9th.
