That's my choice! :)
Agree with you! I chose this no date because of its simplicity, perfectly symmetrical, yet elegant and iconic. What I also love about it is that there is no date to adjust when it stop. 😁

You can never go wrong with this sub! Go for it!

Most would think I should keep the DD40 but I would actually be more practical and keep the DJ41. Crazy I know! Easier said than done.

I'd choose my grail, the 16710 Pepsi. But the SD4K is a very close second. If I was still diving like I did years ago the SD would be it.

That's a beauty!

Do you find it versatile? For example, how does it go with jeans and a polo shirt?

Within my humble means, my SD 50th Anniversary.

Otherwise possibly a YG DD if I can pull it off (don't know, never tried one).

Ignoring the sentimentality of my LVC, I would chose the WG Sub as my only watch. It is the perfect all rounder imo.

I'm saving that for my 50th birthday next year. Right now I have a DJ41 with a Rhodium dial.

To answer your question, I think it would go with anything. Very versatile because of the smooth bezel.

16710. A Rolex icon and it's kind of cheating, since it's really 3-in-1!

I would have to say the BLNR for just one watch. Its sporty, dressy and a tad flash all in one.

I made that decision a year ago and I've settled on my 16710. Sometimes I dream of other watches, but I just can't imagine not wearing this one. I love the idea of spending the next 50 years of my life growing memories with this piece.

At this point, I only have one, a 16233 DateJust (X series). Although I intend to get an Explorer II Polar, if I have to choose just one, I won't give up the one I have and love.

Thanks both of you; I think it is obvious from my POV but I guess that is why there are horse races. GMT, DJ, and annual calendar combined makes for a very versatile watch, imho.

We need to banish this "only one watch" nonsense right now...but if it must be, I would choose my venerable 5513....

If I was threatened with death 💀

I'd probably keep the 116610LVc even though my first 16710 Coke I still have. See ya later 116619, Black Bay Red, 116710, 116713. Hope you the OP is happy now

I'd have a very hard time choosing between my SD43 and GMT LN. Probably would end up with the SD for the latest movement and it can take more of a beating. If I were starting over in 2015 and could only buy one forever it would probably be the SD4K.

Op39

Always liked Explorer, never liked diver watches the OP got me by surprise.

It took quite a few trips to AD trying on different Rolex's in the end got Rhodium 39 and never looked back. The Rhodium and blue contrast is quite something.
