Terrible to hear. I'm so sorry mate.
I have the feeling this period is a wake up call for many of us, but nothing compares to what you and your family must be going through right now.
Keep strong.

Brian,

My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Your brother’s life will always be cherished and the good times and priceless memories that you made with him will never be forgotten. Despite this tragedy, I’m glad that you pointed out the silver lining to this whole pandemic; disconnecting from our hectic lives, rediscovering hobbies and above all the importance of family and those we care about. It’s often easy to be consumed by all of the bad that is going on right now that we often lose sight of the potential good that can come from this situation. May you and your family find peace and comfort during this time and may your brother Rest In Peace.

So very sorry to read this. Its an awful and unpredictable disease.

I recently spent just over 2 weeks in hospital with covid and resulting pneumonia and consider myself very lucky to have walked out. I was the only one of the 4 on my ward that did. Puts things in perspective. I have registered my willingness to give blood to support the antibody therapy trials locally and desperately hope i’m selected.

My thoughts are with people who have lost someone to the virus or who are fighting currently.

So sorry to hear Brian. 36 years old dying to Covid-19 is insane! Stunned how the medical community still has no idea why this virus kills randomly without any clear parameters.
Thanks for posting, a nice reminder that every human being needs to hear or experience frequently as we are programmed to live as if we are immortals.

A brothers love will never subside. He is you and you are him.

You will find the oddest of things that will bring his memory to you, all to often. It will be the best memories, and remind you of who he was. I too have lost a brother....this loss is terrible but these memories are my heart....

Day by day....we must go on....

RIP

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Being brainwashed by numbers, economics, constant hysteric news, one forgets so often, that we have to be grateful for what we have.
