After selling my Breguet 5177 and Patek Phillippe 5124, I really no longer own a simple, haute piece that most associate as a "dress watch". My casual business and social life simply does not offer enough occasions where I felt wearing a watch like that felt right. So about a year ago, I can to the conclusion that I wanted some in precious metal, but not "overtly blingy" but more robust to wear. The answer came in the form of a WG DD40. While not a formal "dress watch" it is equally at home when wearing a suit, jeans or bathing suite.

P.S.

Yes those pieces of plastic eventually where noticed and removed :)

So many beautiful pieces here but I think a lot of people here confused "dress watch" with "expensive watch", just saying

Don't know if either a TT DJ or a Grand Seiko Quartz count as dress watches, but they're as close as i get.
