Nice gesture!
Must be an amazing smoke after so many years of aging

Does aging just make it smoother or do you notice new flavours when compared to a 'new' cigar?

It was just amazing. '03 means it has two years prior to sale of aging; so this was cellared in '01. Today, 16 years later, it was fully flavored, a powerful smoke with BIG (capital letters here) aromas and flavors of earth and leather. I had a big dinner, with a bigger wine; the Montecristo made an epic 'closing' to an amazing Sunday. Fortunately, I have another stick; which I am sure will continue developing beautifully!

Sounds great!
Don't think I'd be patient enough to let them age for 16 years

It is worth it! Try it; just a couple of cigars; 2-5 years is a great beginning

How is my friend Hiram doing?

Haven't heard from or talked to him in a long time.

He must own the bank by now?

Wow! That is an early smoke!

Tonight, a La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amore. Excellent full bodied cigar.

Slowly puffing on some Virginia, love the sweet nutty roomnote.
This would be the Highlands of the pipe tobacco, nice & sweet, while English blends usually remind me of peated whisky, an acquired taste for sure.

Beautiful outside today, the plants are slowly starting to grow in the northeast. RP Decade, a good solid medium body cigar that is consistent but not too complex.

A night with my friends, a few of them smoking cigars and I enjoyed a nice bowl of pipe tobacco, together with some Dalmore and Jameson whisky.
