Which watch stole your Rolex's thunder?
Is there a watch that you purchased (a non rolex), that ended up sharing equal wrist time if not more, than your rolex(es)?
I couldn't get past my love for Rolex, and didn't see myself wanting to wear a watch as much as I did my Rolexes, until I came across this baby Extremely light, versatile, water resistant, and under the radar IMO. She will definitely make my Rolexes jealous. Not my wrist shot; just one of my favs. Any similar stories for you? |

Thinking of buying a Patek myself - and a 5711 sure is easy on the eyes. :) My only concern is the PCLs.

What about the PCLs? The bling, or worries about the scratches? I am certain that they are much more visible on the PCL's of a Rolex if that is your concern. Love it!! Very nice pick up! |

When I eventually get my hands on a 5711 or AP 15202, they will definitely be stealing a bit of my Rolex's thunder

The scratches. I take your word for it, since you have a BLNR as well. Really like the 5711. The waiting time for one (blue dial) seems 2 years. That is a lot.

AP Diver, a recent buy, gets more wrist time than any other watch, including Rolex. However, my Exp 2 Polar is a very close second.

AP RO.
Once I tried one on, my Daytona (and any Rolex I've owned) lost a lot of luster in my eyes. It's now the only watch I own.

A friend of mine just bought on with the blue dial. You just need to shop around and find an AD that has one.

Vintage Rolex stole thunder of modern Rolex for me to some degree! But also love the modern pieces with the innovations and presence.

I had to have this watch! Every year I would go to Saint Armand's Circle on Longboat Key and ask to try it on; after several years I just said I'll take it.

I still wear Rolex but when I go pick a watch to wear, I tend to choose the Jumbo more.
