B55 Exospace opinions
Happened to stop by a Breitling AD last week and played with the B55 Exospace. It's an interesting approach to integrating a watch and smart watch. What are your opinions on it?

I know the early b50 had some issues, it is an inhouse movement. However I have heard the later b55's are ok.
Technically speaking it is very interesting as it houses an in house quartz smartwatch from a family owned swiss watch company. |

Love the look of it. However I don't think I would use the smart watch functions.

My worries it not about the watch, but the app.
if few years down the road, Apple updates the iOS and break the app / connection, and Breitling is too busy to work on the app or stop supporting the app, then the B55 would be reduced to a B50. And then I still worry to drop that much coins to a watch, of which the selling point relies on another party / an ever changing tech industry.

Just my opinion but I think if you want a "Smart" product that will become outdated within a couple of years (at best) then it doesn't make sense to spend that kind of money on it. I doubt it would hold its resale value like any other mechanical watch.

Interesting idea and I like the look however like most Breitling watches they are simply too large for my wrist.
