Icon5 What's the secret to using the search function???

It does not seem to work. For example I searched by typing 232 in the search box and tried in both titles and posts and nothing came up! Surely there must be a way to search for common references to make this forum beneficial to use??

Welcome to TRF This forum has been mighty beneficial to me Try using Google search on the forum, it'll work better than the built in one for a short search like 232.

Thanks for the reply, but how do I use Google search?

I only have the search drop-down with advanced search as a sub-option. I tried searching for 232 in both the Panerai thread and in the watches for sale thread. 232 alone brought up 0 hits, which has to be impossible. When I typed Panerai 232, it brought up any post with Panerai in it. Not exactly the best help, unlike a search engine in the paneristi.com forum. Thanks for the help as this is not too straightforward. Also, how does one get back to the home page where there are options to select a given thread topic? I do not see a home function listed on my toolbar.

232 didn't work because the search has to be more than 3 letters. You can try typing in pam232.

There is a menu box in the lower right of each page to take you to any Board.. If you want the home page, click on the ROLEXROLEX banner at either the top of bottom of any page..
