•••Which pen are you wearing Today•••

I am not really active in the pen forum but I thought it would be really interesting to show your pen for today

I'll kick off this thread with some Japanese perfection

I've got the maroon Omas Paragon today. I don't take it to work much because of an irrational fear I'm going to scratch the resin more than my other pens.

My father-in-law was known to wear a brown suit and shoes to a black tie event. He was a gentleman of great achievement- rising from seaman to Rear Admiral, invented the stainless steel dental brace, president of the ADA, founded the Free Dental clinic of Ca. BTW, he paid for the black tie event and swore that he would not wear anything reminding him of the navy. So don't let your pen bother you. It writes.

Thank you! Pelikan is a top tier pen no doubt. The ones from the 1950s are built like a tank and show a great deal of attention to quality and detail.

This set came with the original box. I was very glad to see it come up for sale.

I wore a new Pilot Prera with a extra fine nib! You can write microscopic text with this pen. Love that! And the cream and chrome is a nice combination also!

Today is a Namiki Nippon Art Dragon descending through the clouds.

This one has a fine #10 nib made in February of 2014.

For the last couple of days I have been using this Retro 51 Postmaster FP. This is a fun pen that has actual postage stamps enameled onto the barrel.

The box is great also.

It's strange though. Even though it is a Japanese pen it is a Korean Dragon. Japanese dragons only have three claws and if you look at the Pearl of Wisdom there are clearly four toes. Also the dragon has horns, antlers. Chinese dragons do not have antlers but Korean dragons have antlers and either four or if the Royal Dragon, five toes. The Chinese dragon also has either four or if Royal five toes.
