Hi all - Decided to plan a last minute trip to Tokyo with my wife from Dec 26 - Jan 3. Have never been and thought I could rely on the great tastes of the wonderful people on this forum for recommendations for restaurants, bars, and things to do! Open to any and all suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Also, is it generally safe to travel with and wear our RO / Code in Tokyo?

You could send school age children out on the subway at night in Tokyo and not feel worried. i.e. you'll be more than fine wearing RO in Tokyo. Maybe not Nagano...but Tokyo just fine. Might be too tempting for the snow monkeys as they've evovled planet of the apes style.
