Real UAE Tudor submariner?
I have doubts about this Tudor with UAE coat of arms. I thought only Rolex had made these dials, and even more knowing that Rolex is more prestigious that Tudor.
Its from a friend, that received it from his dad. I have no more pictures. Anyone can comment on the authenticity? thanks. Jon |

Insert is fake.....not a good start. I have never seen one but it would be cool.

Where does the father of your friend say it was found?
When these turn up, they are always pristine. Mint. Like they were brand new. This one is no different, as it is brand new. |

I don't want to hurt him by asking too many questions. I had told him that I had never seen one like this.
He didn't really react. Is there any other example of this watch? or is it really fake? |

Real UAE Tudor submariner?
I would let it go. Now if he tries to sell it, you may suggest to him he should get it “authenticated”. There are a lot of people making fake Saudi and UAE dials to fit fake watches and ones with real movements.
HQ Milton had a Solid gold date with the coat of arms on it. Older watch, I would love to buy the Mrs. one like that. Since it was a Date it wasn’t too much $$. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

It’s not real and I think that’s well established.
FWIW they didn’t start officially using the logo until 1973 so any watches older than that wouldn’t have that on the dial. I think the old sub dials with the triangle lume at 12 and stick lume at 6 had the rose on the dial before Tudor adopted the shield logo. |

thanks all for the replies. I do not plan to tell him, again not to hurt him in any way, unless he wants to sell it I will.
