Icon20 New here - First rolex tomorrow

Hello,

I am going to rolex tomorrow to pick up my first rolex.
A 36mm explorer

Any tips?
I have yet to see a good strap for the 36mm, seem to be in short supply

zealande seems to be the only one for that size, rubberb not doing that model. I would love a good quality one, does anyone know of any

best

If you are purchasing a complete watch, it should include an Oyster bracelet.

The best strap comes stock on the Explorer. The Oyster bracelet.

don't be hurry to change strap,
you will have plenty of time in the future, and
the oyster bracelet is great on explorer.

Enjoy and welcome!

Congrats! My best tip is to wear it on your wrist and not anywhere else.

Tip #1 --- bring money.

Tip #2 --- don't feel guilty about how great you actually are now.

Tip #3 --- don't rush the sizing process. Be aware and discuss which side to remove links, how centered is the clasp, is easy link open or closed, which hole inside the clasp is being used. All these aspects combine for the best fit. You deserve it. You're a Rolex wearer now.

ps --- forget about a strap

Assuming quick adjust is standard on this watch, have that portion of the bracelet in the middle of the 3 holes. Quick adjust should be in the closed or short position. Have bracelet adjusted to fit. Then you have quick adjustment option for summer/alcohol binging swelling. If you gained some weight you have another hole left. Best you and congratulations. Enjoy!

All these Sunday incomings. Is it just the state of PA I live in, or most of the country, whereas ADs are closed on Sundays?

Congratulations, Eojeoj, and welcome! And I agree to maybe hang loose for awhile to see if the Oyster bracelet indeed might suit you.

Congratulations. I personally would keep the OEM bracelet on. It’s a classic watch, keep it stock.
