Bubble and Puzzle DD. They'll be the ultimate social media expressions of FU money, being able to drop large sums on essentially novelty watches.

They'll also be the hedgers hoping the level of repulsion will equal short lifespans, very limited numbers and Newman money in a couple of years.

PS- has any confirmed an official link to any autism charity or are Rolex, and their graphics team, about to get in a spot of bother ?

Emoji president. Will be crazy expensive in secondary market.

The OP Celebration Motif dial is definitely riding the popularity of LV's collab with 94 year old Japanese artist/designer Yayoi Kusama, "The Princess of Polka Dots".

I think this dial will be priced higher than the OP Turquoise.

Thanks.
Yes the bubble definitely will be up there because they will limit numbers and I suspect it will have a short run.

I think that the YM42 will also command a decent %age premium because the demand will be very high. My white gold YM42 on oysterflex is the most comfortable watche I own. Assuming the Ti has a similar profile and given it's subtle, non bling, tool watch look I reckon it will see huge demand.

I'm surprised that more people haven't mentioned the green Sky Dweller. I know green can be difficult to wear on all occasions but to my eyes it looks amazing. Steel Sky Dwellers are very difficult to get anyway, surely with this new colour should mean a hefty premium in the grey market?

I do not like any of them, especially the bubble dial. But I can see a highly paid young techie would like it.

I would say the Day-Date Puzzle dial will be a sought after collectors item in the near future; It's extremely unique, plus it's Off Catalog.

Other than that, the OP Celebration will fetch the most because it's unique dial and it's obvious ties to celebrate the success of the colorful OP line.

The YM's size might affect is desirability a little, but without a doubt the OP bubble will initially hit the secondary market for 300% of RRP.

I highly doubt it. They will be pushed onto buyers who want hot models.

I hate to play games, but if I was guaranteed something special I'd buy it at full msrp in a second. I love it.

I think the T YM will be very tough to get along with the bubble OP.

Ah yes, the day-date that can’t tell you the day or the date. It’s an interesting piece for sure.

If that was a bet instead of a prediction, I'd take it! The Ti YM may not reach Pepsi (or Daytona) heights, but I think that it'll be low production and high demand. Offers something new and different to those who already have the standard Sub/Pepsi/Daytona collection.

There's no doubt in my mind it will be the Dippin Dots followed by the Jigsaw. They're gonna make picking up that Tiffany thing or Daytona seem like a shopping trip to Wal Mart.

With the exception of any Daytona model, which of the new releases will command the biggest premium? My predictions in highest first order

1) 41mm bubble dial

2) Green face Sky Dweller

3) YM42 Ti

Btw, if you don't care then no need to post that you don't care lol
Lock this thread, we do not need guys like you here to speculate in regards to the grey market.

I don't think the dealers always know either. I know one dealer in Japan who stocked up on one of the new GMT releases and the thing just wouldn't sell at the price they all anticipated.

I mean at a discount in the grey market (what the thread is about) which also lines up with what you are saying about it being a package deal piece.

While I have always agreed with the sentiment, at least compared with 10 years ago, I thought your view could be interpreted as somewhat narrow- until this week. Rolex know their customers, and when they release a Day Date which shows neither the day nor the date they have made your point emphatically.

Not that I object to silly watches per se.

Agree. I think the Ti will be a sleeper hit. First it'll be those that already have a sub, gmt etc who want one. Then after a while it will become very popular amongst those just looking for a single watch. Imho
