A friend would like to find a metal band for this watch for his wife. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance for any thoughts, so far they’ve mostly only been able to find inexpensive expandable type metal bands and they would like something a little nicer.

Look at the company oldfathertime. It’s an unusual size of slightly less than 18mm but they have various bracelets available

Its going to be tough finding a 17mm wide gold bracelet that isnt Spiedel or one of the other cheap stretch band companies. I would just go with a nice vintage brown crocodile strap and gold buckle.

I do love a nice Spaceview, but have no advice as to band. Probably will have to be stretchy Spiedel or leather.

I've got this old Bulova Accutron strap with gold-filled buckle in my drawer if that's any good to you. Width at lug end is 17.8mm.
