Best Rolex Reviewers Who Do Not Also Sell
Would be great for TRF to have a list of links to reviewers / magazines that do not also sell what they're reviewing. Look forward to who you feel does great reviews and shares their knowledge without direct conflict of interest.

Those are good. Also The Timeless Watch Channel is one of my favorites. Roman Sharf at Luxury Bazaar also sells, but he’s not “actively pushing his products” (like watchbox). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I agree with Teddy Baldassarre. When I first saw him I wondered if he had his parent’s permission to be on YouTube but despite looking like he’d get carded to buy beer he’s got great content.

Now that I think about it, Jenni Elle also sells watch rolls. But still good content.

Best Rolex Reviewers Who Do Not Also Sell
Been right into the “Scottish Watches” podcast recently. Other than one of the presenters being overly partial to Panerai i.e. he won’t take it off, they offer quite a good mix of banter and reviews across the board.
Not exclusively Rolex but worth the mention |

I would never be influenced on a watch by other than myself. I like to think that I am capable of making my own decision, rather than depending on total strangers of how to spend my money.

Tend to agree with the top 3 - and must say that SJX is top notch.

Interesting view to have as a member of a watch forum. You would think someone on TRF would be interested in watch reviews, discussions and videos about watches. I don’t think many watch enthusiasts are looking to be influenced. I know when I look up watches reviews it’s because I have an interest in the watch but can’t see one in person. It’s research, just like anything else. I don’t read car and driver or watch their reviews so they can influence me what car to buy but it can certainly educate me and help narrow it down when choosing between several models. Especially if I read or watch something that helps me eliminate a car without wasting time test driving. For watches I have to drive at least an hour to get to a watch store and if I really want to see a large selection I have to drive four hours to NYC. If I can save myself a four hour drive by watching a ten minute video review seems like time and money saved.

Bark and Jack is also pretty good, but he does pitch his straps, but not too much. I also like Hafiz because his wrist size is the same as mine and he always shows good wrist content.

Yet to have an 'opinion' while also trying to sell what you're publicizing, nope not part of this thread.

Have to agree with this.
I don't listen to the Hodinkee podcast too often (I can't handle the pretentious tone it takes most of the time) but when they had Jenni on as a guest I listened to the entire show on my morning walk. I also like the Bark and Jack videos. He's well spoken and he recently did a video talking about sponsored content that was really great to watch. |

I have no problems with Ariel and his crew but, given the purpose of this thread, it’s worth noting they are running a business as much as (or more than) they’re loving some watches.

Beth TEE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcgKxQ3IZ6U Clearly she doesn't NEED to sell anything or is beholden to giving biased reviews to generate income. London Watch Collector is similar |
