Jomashop - PAM01392
Hi, I'm in the market for a new watch and like the Panerai PAM01392. In the UK they are $7000 but Jomashop have them for $5550. I'm based in the UK but a US friend could bring it over for me. Whats the feedback on Jomashop? How do they sell for so much less the AD?

I believe the reason is because you don't get a warranty from the manufacturer, only from Jomashop. I bought my first Breitling from them a few years ago and had no issues.

I would never buy a watch over a couple hundred dollars from Jomas. Their warranty sucks if you have to use it.

No factory warranty but you get theirs. I have had great luck and great customer service using them.
Best of luck. |

My friend owns a panerai boutique here in the states.. I can see what I can do for you if you'd like?

They probably don't even have it in stock. I would avoid Jomashop, personally.

A couple of hundred is $200. We're talking almost $1500. In my case, I avoided sales tax. that's another 10%. for some, it may be worth thinking about. You are correct, in the warranty being pretty much worthless on a high end watch. I don't think they'll work on it and I wouldn't want them working on it.

The items are legit. I thought I read somewhere, they do not work on most/all in house movements (or something that lead me to believe that) but I wouldn't want them working on it anyway. as someone else said, the warranty isn't any good to you. I purchased a Panerai that feels like a gasket on the stem could be dry, but maybe not! Keeping great time. I've had good luck. Good luck to you. |

Even if you have a warranty issue not covered by Jomas, it would have to cost $1500 out of pocket before you'd begin to realize any benefit from buying at the AD. Basically you're buying $1500 insurance policy. |
