My First Rolex Air King
Hello all here’s my first Rolex an awesome Air King hope it’s the first of many rolex’s!!

Nice classic.
While the dominant paradigm around here seems to be that the submariner represents the quintessential Rolex, the Y chromosome, pilot, and history buff inside me most respects the Air King as the first "edgy" Rolex and thus historical grandfather to the large family of adventure off-spring Rolexes that followed. And yet this classic Air King will still serve 99.999% of the real-world demands of any owner. When you have a Air King you know you have all the Rolex you need. Everything beyond that is just wasteful if more tasteful. |

Ya I’m a bit of a history buff and the history of the air king has always appealed to me wanting to buy 1 not to mention as my first Rolex it’s one of the more affordable models
