It’s your watch and you are entitled to do what you are most comfortable with. However, I just can’t embrace altering any watch from its original state. Customization of a Rolex just seems like a crime of sort and would leave me feeling as if I had done something horribly wrong. Just my two cents and glad we’re all different!

I wish Rolex listens and puts the brushed glidelock bracelets on all their sports models!

Looks way better with brushed links, and the swirlies on the pcl won’t be irritaiting and ugly

Only Rolex knows what on Earth they were thinking when they decided on PCL’s for the GMT. I can’t see the pics on my iPad but I know how much better it looks as I did the exact thing myself, well my watchmaker did.

Looks great! I like the pcls on my datejust but the brushed seems more appropriate on the sports models.

I guess when it goes in for service, if you tell them to leave the bracelet alone, they'll respect that.
Can you send the watch without the bracelet to the RSC for service? Thus you don't need to worry about the brushed bracelet polished again.

If I can't locate a 97200 bracelet, then I'm sending it off to be brushed.
Very easy DIY, 15 minutes and scotch brite

Love it! PCLs were the main reason I sold my 116520, couldn't stand 'em.

I hope one day Rolex would offer difference bracelet options for GMTs and Daytonas!

Guess I'll be the odd ball. Don't like it, poor BLNR has had a crucial part of it's personality cut out. I wasn't crazy of my pcls but I got used to them and loved the way they made the watch look. If I want brushed links I'd just as soon get a Sub in the family.

But ultimately it's your watch, hell, throw it on a nato and get it pvd in black.
