Omega Caliber 2500 Gold Plated?

Hi Folks,

Wondering if parts from all the omega calibers' are gold plated. I was looking at the product technical sheet for the Seamaster 300 (that uses the Caliber 2500), but didn't suggest any gold plating or engraving.

If not gold, what's the yellow substance on the parts of the caliber 2500 (see attached pic)?

Thanks,
A

That’s brass you’re seeing in there. No gold parts in the cal 2500 that I’m aware of.

Great movement, by the way. I have a cal 2500 in my AquaTerra and it’s a very reliable, accurate movement. Co-axial AND thin.
