To add to the Diver, I just picked up the 26480...becoming a bigger and bigger AP fan!

It’s on the Diver strap in this picture as I’m waiting for an XS strap to arrive.

Love the Diver on the metal strap, think it would wear too big on me with the steel strap so have stuck with Rubber.

It would be nice if they add the new chrono movement in the future and expand the line to replace the 42 range with the round pushers.
The 44mm style case just looks a lot more fresh and modern and I have been saying for years that they should slim it down to 42 and they finally did.
Now all they have to do is make it in ceramic and I will be there begging for them to take my money.
26480ti is a different take on the 42mm offshore but I’m not convinced it’s the future. I have seen a few around at boutiques so I’m guessing it’s not the biggest sales hit. Also, AP could have slimmed down the 42mm offshore years ago when they released and/or refreshed the Diver but instead opted for a thick dial to fill out the case size.

I’m not here to bash, I love the 26480. I’m actually considering buying one.

Just got mine, and love it! Suspect a lot of people are holding out to see if they bring one out with a ceramic bezel, which many prefer.

Is the 26480ti hard to get from a dealer or boutique?

What are people's thoughts on this model? I kinda expected this to be a popular model because of the fixed thickness and new dial layout but don't see many taking about it

You can't go wrong with a diver or 42 offshore. They are both great watches and many variants to choose from.

I've owned multiple offshores in 42 and 44. Havent owned a diver yet, but on the list for the future. I miss the 42 chrono, so I have a 26470 RG on order now.

Good luck on your search! It's have the fun.

Just got my 26480 2 weeks back.
It is just a matter of timing or luck.

When I was first looking at this model, no stocks anywhere but boutique is accepting deposit and said it should be in soon.

Thereafter I found one from AD and bought it immediately as I don't have to wait. I just heard that boutique have it in stocks now. This is for Singapore by the way.

Just bought my first AP last year and would have never imagined buying a 42mm ROO, tried it on loved it and bought not looking back. Really want a 44mm as well. Have a large wrist over 8 inches. I’d say go for it.

the 26480ti is a great watch with slimmer case, stunning dial and stunning hands. but titanium is just not my taste.

Entry wise for me would look something like the AP Royal Oak Diver (42mm) or the AP Royal Oak Offshore Chrono (42mm).

Im curious what everyone thinks about these models? I know many folks love the Royal Oak, but what are peoples thoughts on the offshore and the diver models? Unfortuantely, I think the RO is out of my price range and the ROO would be more feasible.

Please share your experiences! Is the rubber strap comfortable? is it a heavy watch? How does it compare to sport rolex models? What is your favorite piece?

Thanks!
I’ve looked at AP ads for years but was never really impressed. However all it took was trying on the diver once and I was hooked and understood its reputation. It has such wrist presence in size and mass. Not mass in a negative way but in a solid, quality piece. Another thing that doesn’t translate through pictures are the razor sharp finishing. The lines are a work of art. You must try one on for yourself.

I love the diver, especially the chronograph. My favorite offshore is the SS ginza.

As a Ghost owner, its a solid line but my two biggest irks are the nipple pushes and the coat of arms rotor (prefer the 44 pushers and skeletonised rotor)

The recent Ti model is a step in the right direction though so let’s see how the improve upon it

I have a 15710 Diver and a 26480 Chrono, both 42mm.

Both are terrific watches and add some fun to my collection. I have the Diver on an AP Purple strap and the 26480 on an AP Ghost strap. Also have blue, red, and white straps for them.

My Royal Oak 15300 suits me better, but it’s very similar to my Nautilus or Rolex in terms of general look. The Offshores offer something different and give the chance to mix it up for a cool summer vibe.

If I had to pick one, it would be tough. I prefer the 26480 but whether it’s worth the premium over the Diver I’m not so sure.
