Sent wife's rolex date for repair

Hi everyone, while at tourneau, we sent my wife's rolex date in for repair estimates, as the watch runs, but the quickset date does not function properly when the crown is pulled out to 2nd position. It has been over 15 years since this watch was serviced, and is in bad need of repair. Sometimes even if the crown is pulled all the way out, the hands sometimes does not move with the crown. I will know the price within a month. I did a thread mabye a month or so ago on this watch, and I'm sure you'll agree this really needs a service, the watch is practically a paperweight right now.
Anyway talk about price increase Tourneau has the tags and putting them on their watches this monday, so if I felt like buying anything today or tomorrow, they will give me the old price until March 3. DJ and many other watches are going up 13% or so.

I'm curious to know if it only requires cleaning and lubrication, or if parts need to be replaced.
Please post an update, when you find out.

If you have the funds, I would strike now while they offer you Rolex watches at the old MSRP.
