£2k BIN should raise some questions, also warranty card and paper certificate in the same shot. thats before looking at the watch.

If its too cheap, there is probably a good reason.

Maybe...

In reading this listing, it seems to me that the seller is hedging his bet and if discovered creating plausibility that its not real.

When I read "created as a floor model for the window" that suggests to me a version that is not real in the event it is snatched from the window.

I am not excusing this seller but I am curious about his choice of words

same fake in Perth Australia

there is a ‘Rolex’ at a deceased estate auction in Perth Western Australia, James Cameron deep Sea. spent the last few days learning all about this model. it’s a bloody good fake, the best i have seen and i have seen quite a few out of Thailand and asia. took the scales down, the weight is correct at 215g. the band felt on the flimsy side but they can get lose with age so not an immediate indicator of being fake. the luminous dot on the bezel wasn’t perfectly aligned in the 12 hour triangle, the working of the depth rating seemed marginally too close the wording above, the equal sign on the depth rating text should be italic and offset whereas this had two parallel lines! the swiss made writing below the 6 hand dial also had a crown in the middle of the words swiss made, this was an addition in thr 2018 model whereas all the other features on this watch were 2014 spec which had no crown! all these were enough for me to decide it was fake!! topping it off when i searched the serial number of M646829 all was confirmed on this post!! worst part is it’s going to auction and bidding is already over $1000.. and auction hasn’t even started. someone is going to be in for a nasty surprise! i will let you all know what this fake ends up selling for!!! cheers
