Rolex 16613 crystal question
Hello gents ..I picked up a 2002 Y serial 2 tone 11613 submariner at a pretty decent price .. the watch was sold to me with a aftermarket serti dial which actually looks really good and I don't mind ( atleast for now ) the dial being aftermarket.. but just notice the crystal does not have the crown etching at the 6 o'clock .. so my question is .does it supposed to have the etching ? I read that some models started in 2002 receiving the newer crystals.. this is a late 2002 model since it has the no holes case ..also the magnification on cyclosp looks a lil less that 2.5 magnification.. but that mite be , because I have a 116300 and doesn't even come close to that since that model has AR on the cyclosp.. ..thanks in advance

Welcome - Sapphire was not etched then - pop a photo of dial and plexi though, original had a semi-soft edge that era.
Btw 16613 (I think you meant) Tritium dials can be bought cheaply if you want pukka dial - I bought a fantastic purple one for £850 last year....looking out for matching bezel now :-)
