Hey Folks - wanted to reach out for any suggestions on a chronograph. Characteristics I’m looking for:
- 40mm-37mm - case thickness thinner than 13mm - sapphire caseback - dress/casual - In-house movement - prefer precious metal but could do steel - blue or white dial - 10 years old or newer - $15000 or under Thanks folks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Have fun..
Whilst you’ve specified 40mm as the largest size you’re interested in, you really shouldn’t ignore the 41mm VCO 49150, as various factors come into play over and above the static dimensions. |

maybe something from Blancpain ?
18K and under $10K, 38 X 11.5mm Under $4k 38mm X 11.7 in Rose gold under $10K 40X 13mm and under $7K this is just a little bigger but stunning: XXI the XX is 39.5mm and there are the IWC Portuguese...the newer models now have an in-house movement and a display back bugger ! just read that you said blue or white dial...well the Blancpain are available in white and Portuguese are available in blue or white...

Most of the ones I can think of are stainless steel.

If you don’t mind going up to 41mm, then IWC Portugieser has a couple models.

Breguet type XX, or an old JLC Master chronograph, both are excellent.

The IWC chronos are lovely - also consider the yacht club.

Love that watch.
How about a vacheron overseas chronograph. 42mm, but with the curved lugs she wears more like a 40. Plus you can get it with a rubber dive strap too!

One final thought and then I’m done: Breitling Montbrillant 01. Blue dial, 40mm, and comes in SS and the LE in gold.

rofl didn't see the chronograph part. Thought he was asking for only a dress watch.
At least now I know people aren't just weird and inclined to have only a chronograph as a dress watch suggestion.

I’m in your boat too...still don’t know which way to go...leaning towards zenith el primero 38, but am still totally undecided. Heuer Carrera or Hamilton might win out too. Don’t know!

I'm going to suggest something a little different: the Habring Doppel-Felix. It's a little bigger at 42mm, but a beautiful piece from a small indy house.
