Trade question

I've trimmed my collection down to three (BLNR, 2016 SubC, 2018 Speedmaster Pro w/ Hesalite), but I want to get that down to two. I never thought I'd be able to do it, but I did and I'm happy about it. The BLNR is out of play, but I'm open to trading up my SubC and Speedmaster. Both are complete, the Sub is in excellent condition with light wear but no dings, deep scratches, or dents, and the Speedmaster is is pristine shape and it comes with four additional OEM natos that are all in excellent shape.

I saw a 116610LV Hulk in person and really like it. It doesn't need to be BNIB, but a nice 2016-2017 in similar shape to my Sub and complete would be good. With my two watches and I'm assuming there will be cash on top from my end, what would be a fair and realistic dollar amount? I've had a couple offers, but I don't want to jump on anything unless I have a solid idea. I'm not in a rush and want to do my homework.

Thank you so much for any assistance you fine people may be able to offer.

I would contact a trusted seller here on the forums... They would be able to work with you and should have the LV in inventory. Best way to get an idea of worth is sale section here to see what people are asking, and sites like chrono24, watchrecon, etc... keep in mind these are asking prices and not necessarily what they sold for.

I’m assuming you want to be down to a BLNR and a LVc?
From a cost perspective your subC and speedy should equal about 10-11k.
You probably wouldn’t need out of pocket cash but would have to list both for sale, not sure if anyone with a Hulk would be up for a 2 for 1 trade.
PM me about your hesalite

trade those two in for the LVC. The BLNR with the LVC would make a great combo.

BLNR and LVc is a very very common combo in these forums. You're missing the plain black on black but the BLNR kind of fills that void anyway with it's black dial. Go for the trade.

It doesn't sound like you have an attachment to the Speedy/chornograph.....so why not ge the diver that you like? (lvc it sounds like). Good combo.

This is a great trade question.

Both of your watches are quality, no "meh" pieces..so dealers will accept them in trade, so no "I'll Pass" to worry about on these ones...

That being said, I would expect you to get the following in trade.

Sub Date C = $7500 for complete set

Speedy Pro = $2,700. This is without the Nato's. Speedy on bracelet with complete set.

$10,200.00 Trade in.

Hulks in the age and condition you are looking for go for $11.2K - $11.5K

So figure $1k to $1.3K in CASH top off to acquire the LVC.

I would suggest selling the Omega Nato's privately. Most trusted dealers I have dealt with really only want what the reference came with and find the extra straps to be more of a hassle as not everybody wants them and people try to offer out of them and it's just too much muddying the waters...

These straps are popular, so you could sell them and put that towards the top off for the LVC

Thank you very much for the thoughtful response. I really appreciate it. I ended up trading my two+just under your $ range. Thank you very much again. Can't wait to get my new watch. It's taken me years to get down to two, but I have to admit that it feels rather freeing! Admittedly, that's as low as I'll be able to go.

I think you'll be very happy with your resulting pair...it's a very popular one around here, for good reason.
