Better with B01

Agreed but a 38 mm case could still easily hold the B01 movement, not this piggybacked ETA. A B01 with a simple full calendar (a la Valjoux 72 C or ETA-Valjoux 7751) would make this a very round thing... the same movement would be wonderful in the Montbrillant 01 (40 mm) too... but hey, it's just quite another watch! :)
My personal fav is the Chronomat 41 with blackeye-blue dial on the Breitling mesh - since a few weeks mine :) (sorry for the dirt on the watch...)

Here a newer shot of the steelfish just for fun; it'll go on it's rubber strap today.

I'd like a Navitimer but it's too big for my wrist.

You should look at a 38mm Breitling Montbrillant

I've had this Navitimer since 1999. It came with a black crocodile strap. It became my everyday watch. I wore it when I got married and the night my daughter was born. When the strap became a little too well worn, I put it on a Navitimer bracelet. Last year, to change it up a little, I switched to the strap you see pictured.

It remains a favorite...

Mine is pretty small at 6.5 (tight measure) and the 43"mm 01 fits me perfectly.

Say it's not so! That's a beautiful watch and I'll bet with a bit of wrist time you'll get used to the size. The curved lugs help it wear very comfortably. Also, the dark bezel and light dial give it a smaller wrist presence. Wear that watch!

My one and only (and my favorite) Breitling:

It happens to be in the shop right now getting a major overhaul (first time in at least 6-7 years, maybe longer).
