Kermit for me. It's the only sub in the catalog with a maxi dial but not the supercase.

I voted for the 5 digit. Both great watches but I personally prefer the smaller lugs and c/g's of the older model, and I would not wear the green dialed 6 digit version as I think it's too much green.

Crap. Mistyped the thread title, and missed a digit on the Hulk.

Should read as Hulk 116610LV vs Kermit 16610LV. Sorry.

Is this in jest? Who'd take a plain black dial over a sunburst emerald green on w the ultimate bezel?

The Hulk is what the LV should have always been. Far more than a simple bezel treatment.

Go green--full green.

I love the deep green burst dial of the Hulk; the ceramic bezel does it for me. I'd definitely go with the LVC!!!

This. Just the way that light hits the 116610lv dial is so subtle yet so remarkable. Beautiful the way it catches light.

The Kermit is a sculpted piece of art when compared to the Hulk. 16610LV all day long.

Although LV flat 4 is hyper collectible but...had both, LVC is staying with me. I sold my LV.

I just don't know.....this is a hard this or that for me....the lvc's green dial is just so damn awesome. The way the sunburst plays with the light has to be seen in person. But I'm just not a huge fan of the 6 digit case dimensions versus 5 digit. The insert on the 16610lv is 20000x preferable to me than the ceramic green insert. I can go back and forth all day on this one......really correct answer has to be both in this case.

Given i own a Kermit, I've voted that. There's no doubt about the enhancements to clasp etc on the hulk, but I prefer the case shape and shade of green (plus contrast with black) on the 16610LV.

Both lovely watches though, and have been very tempted to pull the trigger on a hulk recently too.....

I would not own a Kermit. It just doesn't do anything for me. However, I would love to own a Hulk.

I own both and must say I do enjoy both the them immensely. The 16610lv makes a better every day watch. It might be the perfect combination of the maxi dial with the great features of the 5-digit reference subs. It feels less clingy and has that classic sub feel. The Hulk on the other hand is loud and proud. The green sunburst dial is mesmerizing and you can get lost staring at the various shades of green. It feels solid on your wrist. Oh and that glidelock!

So I’m glad I own them both because man it would be hard to have to pick just one!
Thank you my friend! Yes despite being somewhat alike and from the same series, they are two very different watches, meant to be worn on different occasions.

Oh you'd be surprised sir. A lot of people, and I mean a lot of TRF members would pick the classic over the ceramic. But yes, I do understand your opinion. The Hulk is the near-perfect Sub. It's just that the Kermit carries a lot of history with it.
