Would you comment on your impressions,
Winding, is there a winding limiter to stop?
Fit: looks comfy.

Double toubillon,
What is the 1-4 numbers on the bottom hand?

This might be the perfect watch. The world Time GF is a bit more bam, but clunky and perhaps a bit too avant-garde. This strikes the perfect balance. What a watch.

World Time is my fav. GF, though the minute repeater is pretty impressive when I heard it.

Absolutely stunning, Roger! Not surprised you've gone back to GF, esp as an Englishman.

Wow Roger, you are on a tear! Really, there is no one who can beat your strings of incomings! Huge congratulations!

I am a huge fan of GF, at least from a design/concept perspective. I'd consider buying one if I had the dough and the wrist size to carry it!

It is v comfy and comes with deployant and pin buckle. I prefer the former but the latter does help clamp the watch to the wrist more firmly. It is comfortable and the weight is fine for the large watch it is given this one is WG not PT. For winding there is a not a hard stop per se but some sort of slipping clutch which I assume protects the movement. Also I just use the 120 hr power reserve dial at 2pm to tell me when it is fully wound.

The 1-4 is the counter for the 4 minute outer tourbillon. The inner tourbillon is 60 seconds and corresponds to the second dial at 9pm. As to the finishing - this watch just begs to be scrutinised under a loupe. Every surface every edge is simply perfection. If anyone ever has the opportunity to see one in the flesh you simply must do it.

If I was picking a watch to wear for a month, it’d be the world time. If I was picking one to own for a couple years, it’d be Roger’s, if that’s makes sense.

I don’t get on with the lump at the side of my other GF so that rules out a lot of their models for me. However if a quadruple tourbillon at a sensible price appears I will willingly make an exception!

Another level Roger. While you are fortunate to have the means to acquire this, I think you are more fortunate to have the wrist size to carry it. lol!

Enjoy it.

Thank you. May post some group shots on IG in the coming weeks. I never have all my watches in one place sadly so not as easy to arrange as one might think. Also my insurance company would have a fit!
