Rubber B

Sadly, I have that darn nickel allergy. Bought the Rubber B. Couldn’t be happier.
Customer service is great! First band they sent has a small blemish. They took care of it right away are replaced it no questions asked.
Go Dodgers!

Great looking piece. I really think rubber suits many Rolex watches.

with correct tool (i.e., Bergeon 7825) swapping is a breeze.

Correct, with the right tool, it’s easy. Be careful not to scratch the lugs. Take a few practice runs, but now it takes me less than a minute. I only change it when I’m dressing more formal.

Easiest way for those of us without practice is to simply apply some tape to the underside of the lugs.

Rubber is a great change up. I have an Oysterflex for my Sub, but if I ever wanted a color like red orange I would get a rubber b or Everest. I heard they fit identical.

Have you got the clasp on or buckle? Any pics?

Thanks

It looks great. And I’m sure it feels great too. I finally pulled the trigger on one as well a few days ago for my 116710 LN and I’m super happy with it. Does make it feel more wearable but more for casual/sporty occasions. Bracelet still more versatile and any type of situation but I have to say I’m really glad I finally did it. I got the one with the Tang buckle. For those with smaller wrist I definitely recommend rubber B with the Tang buckle. If not the clasp may not sit centred. With the buckle it’s off but because it’s just a small part of the band, it’s a non issue. Highly recommended for a completely different look and feel.

Some may think it crazy, but I bought a blue one and put it on a 16613 and I thought it looked good.

Yes that looks awesome. I too have an LN and started off with a Rubber B but switched to the Everest because it doesn't have the fake "end link" line in the mold, it's completely smooth so looks a bit better IMO. Despite that I still returned it for some stupid reason, I think I was trying to sell the watch, which never happened. May get another, don't like the PCLs...

Just put my Runner B back on my GMT. Really like this band to change things up from the PCL’s.

Yeah I know what you mean. I was in London and went to David Duggan (Rubber B AD) in Burlington Arcade to view the strap and was quoted around £230. Eventually found one back home for £140 and no regrets. Tool can be had easily for reasonable price I think. Fairly easy to change especially after some practice. YouTube has some videos for reference. Good luck!
