Icon17 The Phoenix has arisen

The Bel Canto Phoenix has now arrived from Switzerland and undergoing Quality Control checks at CW, Maidenhead.

Some pics of the prototype attached. Three of the pics are with the Phoenix sitting on the wing of MSO 1. The fire pic was simply a quick phone snap whilst I watched a fire-eater perform at the weekend.

Thanks everyone :) Glad you all like it

Yes the chime is normal on it, but this is just the prototype and I have to return it soon, when mine arrives.

I imagine Jas will get the first one that's ready for a client since he put it all together and as he just got the prototype I doubt a customer will get one before he gets his (so he can ensure its what its supposed to be) BUT that is just my guess.

Thank you so much everyone Glad you like the watch.

I don't believe any have finished going through QC just yet, but it must be imminent. It would not surprise me to see the first batches being delivered next week. CW said they would not be in any particular order, so I don't know if mine will be shipped first.

In case anyone is wondering about the car it's sitting on. It's this car that inspired it

Amazing colour.

What's up with the QC check? This is something you paid on your own?

I experienced the QC check with a standard BelCanto. After the watches are built in Switzerland, they are shipped to CW in UK for Quality Control inspection and then sent on to the buyer.

No, but if you buy the car, then McLaren do give you exactly that

Yes unfortunately it sold out over a year ago.

Still in QC, but I expect an update this week. Should be shipping imminently.

CW standard procedure. But Bel Cantos get an extreme check.
