Pepsi vs RG YM 126655
Putting price aside, which one do you prefer as a daily watch?

Pepsi for me personally. I think full RG is a bit flashy for daily wear (for me anyhow). YMMV.

Get something in SS, or WG, as a daily. No love for the Sub date?

Both great watches. The 126655 is my favorite YM. That said, the BLRO as a daily watch wins for me.

3 things from Rolex I do not like
1). Air King 2). TT watches 3). the YM 40 or 42 even the YMII.

I’m going to offer a third option and point of view. A determining factor is the bracelet and clasp for a daily. The Sub with its brushed bracelet and clasp is ideal as a daily as it hides a multitude of micro hair lines. You will go nuts with PCL scratches unless you are at peace with learning to live with them. A lot of people can’t.
In contrast my LVc after two major vacations and as a daily is still in mint condition. Think about it.

traded the RG YM40 last week for a RG Daytona on OF and still have my pepsi which is my daily wearer.
Even though I parted ways with the YM I have to say it has some very unique vibe and elegance that you can't really find in any other Rolex imo, it feels special in its simplicity and has somehow always gave me Patek vibes. Pepsi however has always been my favorite watch, depends what you are looking for, in a perfect world you could have both, if you can only have one I'd vote pepsi (but only if it's on jubilee) |

126655 all day long.
If you can afford the YM why get the BLRO? The YM is much more versatile, dressed up or down.

I own both and plan to keep both…just different watches. I truly love the understated vibe of the YM. I considered trading it for the chocolate Daytona as I love that watch as well, but mini glidelock on OF is important to me.
I could easily wear the YM as a daily but if I had to choose one or the other it would be a GMT (BLRO or BLNR)… |

The YM, not that I don’t like the BLRO but with a YM you are not following the hype herd and show off some pure class instead
