I mean they've always had a big Rolex section, not sure if you're saying it has somehow upped its partnership with Rolex? It is probably their biggest watch client/stock/customer request.

I think this one is the Rolex across the street from the actual wempe. It is a joint venture between wempe and Rolex but looks like a Rolex boutique.

I’m guessing cause theres an enormous Rolex sign, which I don’t recall ever seeing before above the wempe in NYC. But I don’t think that is wempe!?

Otherwise I don’t know the point either lol.

The sign has been there as long as I can remember. That building is Rolex NYC Office that includes an RSC upstairs.

Wempe is up 5th a few blocks and a much better shopping experience (with or without stock) than this Wempe Rolex Boutique.

What is the point of this thread is right.

Btw, in other news, that building may be razed for (yet another) a new and improved steel and glass tower.

i don’t think that’s wempe on 5th ave unless them moved since yesterday. I’ve never been to that store, hopefully they had a good selection.

That’s the Rolex Boutique on 5th ave. The store is owned and operated by Wempe. Wempe is 2 blocks up the street in 5th ave as well.

The boutique is in the Rolex building where the RSC is located

Been there when I visited NY. Looks like the Rolex store to me. Worthless experience btw. Staff giving the impression of not wanting to smile, let alone talk to customers. But it was a one time visit, so could be bad timing.

Yeah in my experience their existence there is to wait for Ellen to stop by every couple months and in between tell everyone else that Ellen was just here a few weeks back lol.

They gave me a little bottle of water. They didn't have what I wanted in stock (I was seated at a completely empty display case) so I walked down to a trusted dealer on 47th. You wonder why they bother.

This is a chicken in Hawaii. Figured it was just as relevant as the OPs pic

I’ve always been treated politely in both Wempe and their Rolex boutique. Then again I don’t walk in and demand things I know they won’t have for me.

Same here. I was there a good 45 minutes when I visited. The salesman I met was cordial and treated me well.

That’s a beautiful rooster! Much more interesting than the Rolex boutique pic in the OP.

you can just imagine how many hype watch buyers ask them daily for flippable pieces.

I've bought several watches there. The staff was always professional and I recommend them to anyone looking for a Rolex. Friendly and knowledgeable.
