First Rolex

Finally decided to buy a Rolex after wearing Seiko's and a Tissot for years. Have several questions for all the experts on here and will post later. Can't seem to get pic to post. It's a Datejust 41 Stainless Steel.

Picture isn't showing up, but I like the name from the Stephen Hunter series.

Congratulations on buying a great watch! Few watches are as iconic as Datejusts with so much heritage and history. The modern size and proportions of the 41 are very well done and you get the new 3235 movement with a nearly 3 day power reserve up from the 3135/3136's 2 days. I'm sure it's going to bring you lots of enjoyment for many years to come.

Regards pic posting. Mine wouldn't upload, then I read the instruction box and it turns out they where too big. I think the pic file size has to be around 250kb, which is fairly small. That might help :)

When my wife gets back in town next week will get her to help me get posted. I uploaded pic to shutterfly successfully and then hit a wall. I'm really sold on Rolex and can't believe I waited this long to get a nice watch. I have even been sleeping with it own. Already thinking of a Skydweller for my next watch and then will have a rolex for each nephew when I go to the Land of Glory. I did find a couple of PP's I liked but to rich for me.

Thanks

Sorry, he actually hasn't, but by OP I meant Oyster Perpetual, not Original Poster.

Sorry again

Cheers!
