Refreshing to see a collection with some brand diversity...and without a ceramic Daytona.

I like most of the watches in the collection. I have 10 watches spanning from a $250 Timex to a pair of Rolexes. I wear them all more or less equally. I went through dozens to get to the ones I kept.

I wouldn't sell this or that because one of us thinks you should. I'd sell the 2 or 3 you never really reach for. If the Navitimer and Speedmaster both fit the same place in the collection...and you prefer the Navitimer...then sell the Speedy. You might first try it on a bracelet.

That's my input...if you aren't wearing it, sell it. And you don't NEED to replace it or buy a PM watch if you don't lust after it. If I had 5 times the money I have I still wouldn't spend over $20k on any watch. I'm not cheap, there just isn't any real payoff for me above that level.

Never got the call. I’ve been allocated the two GMTs and the Aquanaut but have been told a SS Daytona is not likely in the cards in the foreseeable future - the demand and length of other waits dictates that in their view. Sure people spending over 6 figures in a year on jewelry also cut in line.

Really strange that it’s in such demand. It’s an attractive watch but there are so many other chronographs that are arguably better and a better value (even talking retail).

With all this being said, I’m still trying.

Hence why you need a Zenith. The chronograph movement of chronograph movements, IMO.

I am the wrong person to ask. I prefer to have a smaller collection 3-4 watches. I have a hard time deciding what to wear.

Lol, fair point. In fairness though, he is posting in the Rolex section of the forum, so it makes sense for us Rolex fanboys (aka snobs) to suggest moving the non-Rolex for a Rolex.

Personally the last three speak to me as a pretty nice 3 watch collection.

+1 I'd also move the seamaster.

Before I’d do anything, I’d focus on why you bought each piece to begin with

Then look at whether you still wear it and want to own it
Couldn’t have said this any better..

I’d get rid of everything Breitling, the YM and one of the GMTs. I’d have a VC instead buy some vintage Sub and maybe a nice simple Blancpain dress watch to round things off.
I’d be on the fence about the Patek as I don’t like those models. I’d also trade the Speedy for one or two vintage models.

I could get behind that. Minus the East German watch. Never understood that.

I would keep one of the GMTs, the Patek, the Speedy, Tudor BB. And cop a dress watch like a Lange to round out the collection.
