What Pen are You Using Today?

A 2010 Q-Connect. Must be due a service by now - if I get it polished and get the chewed black plastic end replaced with a service one, will it affect the value significantly do you think? I would appreciate any guidance from you more experienced pen aficionados!

Sarcasm... no. I actually thought it quite brave of him to share his propensity toward oral fixation. And I applaud his honesty, notwithstanding the esoteric
delivery.

Today's pen

Was wearing my 16610 today so went vintage naval lead over nib and ink.

I do not have many pens that would rate as superb. This one does.

So I have a question if you don't mind: did you order directly from Nakaya in Japan or did you go to one of the dealers? If direct, what was the wait time like? I've heard it can be lengthy.

Second question... what is the flex like on those bad boys?

Thanks!

Simple taste. Never a fountain pen fan. Have Cross ballpoints but never cared for turning the barrel or its slender feel. Just give me an older Papermate with a good click and im fine.

There is a reseller in my hometown and he had the both of them in stock when i wanted them. I also ordered a decapod (not in stock) but when it came it turned out to be a disappointment (cap didn't line up).

I have on more Nakaya in order, a one off Heki Tamanuri with feather inlay, this should be delivered within 10 months

Still the Aurora 888P. I truly believe I'd be happy if it were my only fountain pen.

Bought my first MB pen the other week.

Wanted a Rolleball/Fineline setup.

Fell in love with the lines and design of the Victor Hugo LE pens.... Ended up with this one:
