New watch accuracy

I just got a new Breitling Chrononmat 40 with green dial....
I love the watch(very comfortable and great color), BUT it is 5-8 seconds slow....
Is this expected???...thought it should be a little less....
THANKS!!

That feels low. My Breitling runs about +1 or +2 a day. And they are all COSC certified. I think you should take it in. Maybe it was held too near a magnet?

Magnetized watches would run significantly off COSC, not just a few seconds. And I would have waited to send it in until closer to end of warranty.

It's not great, but i consider everyting around 5 seconds to be good enough for me.

Warranty work gets priority over anything else so you'll have you watch back in less than 4 months. Both times that my Chronomat Airborne went in for warranty work, it was back within a month.
