Icon10 Finally got a new one for the 1938a

After watching the 233 go away and only having the 1938a it was depressing to see that i had over a dozen straps for the 233, and nothing really for the 1938a

So yesterday i went down the AD, bought a lovely black calf 27/22 and stuck one of the Panerai buckles on it, overall it feels nice, my incredible shrinking wrists are a worry though as i'm at the last hole yet again on a regular strap

Wow - that is one of the nicest Rads I've ever seen.

Never heard of the 1938a before, would you mind giving a bit of info on it!

Its OK, I get it now, did a bit of research on RWC - I honestly thought it was a Panerai re-release, but no harm done.

I would prefer a sapphire crystal, even if plexi is polishable.

The colouring of the face is very pleasing.

Had my eye on a BNIB at Blowers which was just shy of 8 big ones - alas its gone ........ (alas=thank god)
